Editing

If you want to undo any changes you made while still in the edit screen hit ctrl+z and it will undo changes you have made.
You can click "wiki source" at the bottom of any page to see the codes without editing the page.

One * at the beginning of a line makes a bullet point, like this.
One ! makes a huge headline
Two !! makes a big headline (like "Text formatting" above)
Three !!! makes a small headline
Two * before and after something makes it bold
Two ' before and after something makes it italic
One vertical bar before and after something put a box around it
--- makes a line
< toc > without the spaces will automatically generate a table of contents (from !,!!, and !!! headings).
< center > without the spaces will center the text.
< /center > without the spaces will end centering.

Links

If you use two capital letters in a word with lowercase letters in between, pbwiki will automatically recognize the word as a link to a page. This is why we write words like SandBox instead of sandbox or Sandbox. If that page hasn't been written yet, the UndefinedWord will show up with a question mark next to it and you'll be able to create that page.
You can also just type or paste in URLs like http://pbwiki.com/ - you can beautify URLs by adding brackets, like this: pbwiki (click Edit to see how this was done)

Photos

You can also show pictures in your wiki. Just add the link to the picture in brackets. Click edit above to see how this sandwich was added.

Linking to outside photos

You will notice that the sandwich photo comes from an outside page. Rather than uploading photos to the wiki site is best to link to outside ones. If you do not have your own webspace you can store pictures on a place like flicker.

How to use flickr

1. Go to http://flickr.com/
2. Click "Sign up now!"
3. Sign into your yahoo account (if you do not have one yet make one).
4. Choose a screen name
5. Click "Sign In"
You are now in your flickr account

To upload photos

1. Click "upload some photos"
2. "Browse" your computer for the picture(s) you want to upload.
3. Add Tags to the images if you want
4. Select "public" for the picture(s) (so you can link to them from the wiki).
5. Click "upload"
6. Enter title, description, and tags (optional)
You have now uploaded picture(s) to your account

To link to your pictures from the wiki

1. Click on the picture you would like to add to the wiki
2. Click on "different sizes" it is a small link to the right of your picture
3. Select the size (small is good for the wiki since large photos make the wiki slow to load)
4. Copy the small picture URL from the window named "Grab the photo's URL:"
5. Paste the link into the wiki and put brackets [] around it like this:
Voila you have added your picture to the wiki.
